As the current governor of a region of West Java with over 50 million people, Governor Kamil is a true visionary leader who believes in the power of innovation and the digital age. He is a graduate from the University of California, Berkeley, specializing in environmental design, and has been working with entities such as Bentaus, GRN Energy, and others to bring education and adoption of Bitcoin to Indonesia. Governor Kamil understands the importance of incorporating renewable designs and energy solutions such as solar and geothermal to power technologies like Bitcoin. He is at the forefront of initiatives to transform energy policy to a net zero future and is the Chairman of the Regional Government Association for Renewable Energy and Honorary Board Member of the Indonesian Digital Council.
